Required Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a strong background with new build and renovations in commercial plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance, and will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
A valid Plumber’s License from the Ontario College of Trades
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a commercial plumber
Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations in Ontario
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Required to bring the following tools and equipment:
Basic hand tools (large tools will be provided)
CSA-approved safety boots
Hard hat
Must possess reliable method of transportation
Working at heights certification is an asset
Customer service, and good telephone communication skills

Key Responsibilities:
WHAT WILL YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE
Installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial buildings, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting problems, and responding to emergency plumbing situations
Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan the installation of plumbing systems
Installing and maintaining water supply, waste disposal, and storm drainage systems in accordance with local codes and regulations
Installing and maintaining gas distribution systems and equipment, including gas meters and gas piping
Providing advice and recommendations to building owners and managers on plumbing issues and repairs
Collaborating with other trades and contractors to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects
Following all safety procedures and regulations, and maintaining a clean and organized work area
