Required Qualifications:

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Relevant technical training or certification in fire alarm installation, repair, and maintenance.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
Knowledge of local and national codes and regulations related to fire alarm systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must be proficient in: Minimum 2-3 years of experience installing, repairing and maintaining fire alarm systems, local and national codes and regulations related to fire alarms.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Fire Alarm Technician will install, repair and maintain our fire alarms throughout our Rook Hotel and other properties.
The mission of the Fire Alarm Technician is to support the safety of our various locations including our upcoming high-tech Rook Hotel. The Fire Alarm Technician will be a key asset to helping launch our Rook Hotel.
As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities
Install, test, and repair fire alarm systems, including control panels, smoke detectors, heat detectors, and other components.
Conduct regular maintenance checks on fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with fire alarm systems, and perform necessary repairs.
Coordinate with other team members to ensure that fire alarm systems are installed and repaired by local and national codes and regulations.
Keep accurate records of all work performed, including service reports, inspection reports, and parts used.
Provide training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
Stay up-to-date on new developments in fire alarm technology and regulations, and incorporate this knowledge into job duties.
