Required Qualifications:

Education

Minimum – Secondary School Diploma along with completion of a related coursed such as Medical Terminology is preferred.

Experience

-A minimum of 1 to less than 7 months
-Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
-Ability to effectively use computer software including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel
-Ability to accurately enter confidential data and information
-Excellent organizational and time-management skills
-Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated competency in keyboarding and Windows scheduling software. Ability to operate all standard office equipment; proficiency in written and spoken English.
-Other Skills and Abilities

Key Responsibilities:

Tasks – Carry out administrative activities of establishment, including but not limited to organizing stock room and storage, maintaining a clean and office. Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met. Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.

Work conditions and physical capabilities – Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Attention to detail. Large workload. Some heavy lifting.

Personal suitability – Efficient interpersonal skills. Excellent oral communication. Excellent written communication. Organized. Reliability.

Additional Details:

Hours – Day shifts during business hours of 9:30am to 5:30pm working alternating weekends.
