Key Responsibilities:
Job Duties
● Places finished products into the appropriate coolers for shipping
● Performs the final mixing and assembly of kitchen products
● Responsible for entering ingredient lot numbers and best before dates on recipes
● Retrieves raw materials and equipment from freezer/stockroom for production
● Ensures product quality and consistency
● Prepares raw materials for production in the gourmet kitchen
● Packs and weighs salads
● Cleans and cuts vegetables for production
● Assists in final production of finished goods
● Cleaning of dishes, equipment, machinery and floors
● Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment, (operating tilt fryers, steam kettles, Hobart mixers and
oven, etc).
● Use of knives
● May also assist in other departments
● Responsible to operate within the health and safety guidelines
● Other duties as required by management

Working Conditions and Environment
● Meat packaging and food manufacturing plant
● Physically demanding and fast paced work environment
● Early morning start (Monday to Friday)
● Refrigerated (cold) environment
● Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation
