Required Qualifications:

· Mechanical Technician/Technologist degree, or equivalent working experience.
· Must be able to read mechanical drawings.
· Strong CAD and SolidWorks Skills are required.
· Strong MS office 365 Skills are required.
· Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in complex designs.
· Certified SolidWorks professional (CSWP) is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Duties:
· Prepare CAD drawings in accordance with sketches or instructions using CAD or SolidWorks.
· Construct Inspection checklists from drawings in MS Excel.
· Must assist the Process Engineering Supervisor to design and commission the production of jigs, fixtures, work holding devices, and other items, which facilitate the manufacture of products.
· Store and Manage engineering information in an organized manner and controls are exercised.
· Work closely with other team members to understand design requirements, project objectives, and deadlines. Communicate effectively to convey design intent and address design-related queries or issues.
· Perform quality checks and reviews on CAD models and drawings to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to design standards. Identify and resolve design conflicts or discrepancies as they arise.
· Prepare assembly manuals by analyzing drawings.
· Additional Duties as needed depending on the Department workflows.
· Sales Order Processing: Enter sales orders and RFQ’s into the company’s order management system accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is captured.
· Order Verification: Review orders for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established pricing, terms, and conditions.
