Required Qualifications:
-Experience using industrial cleaning supplies and/or safety equipment preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to Operations Manager, the Facility Maintenance & Custodial position is responsible for assisting with maintaining a clean and safe facility, while providing janitorial services, building repairs, minor mechanical and electrical maintenance services and supporting the technical department with venue supervision and set-up requirements for rentals and performances. This position acts as occasional on-site liaison for contracted service delivery. Most work is indoors, although some facility maintenance work will be spent outdoors in both summer and winter.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Provides janitorial service, including cleaning and sanitizing public washrooms, emptying waste containers, stocking washrooms, mopping floors and general facility cleaning and COVID sanitization
-Performs general building maintenance service and repairs, including painting, drywall, door and locks repairs and maintenance, changing lightbulbs
-Receiving deliveries and maintaining inventory of building and cleaning supplies
-Supervises and secures facility when required
-Minor landscaping duties, snow removal and salting of parking lot and sidewalks
-Assists with preparation and delivery of performances and events, including room set-up, unlocking doors and coordinating parking
-Acts as on-site liaison for contracted services
-Provides technical support to the technical department as needed
-Maintenance and organization of theatre equipment as needed
-Other duties as required
