Stronger Together: Regional Strength, Local Connection!

The Boards of Directors of Goodwill Amity and Goodwill Ontario Great Lakes (OGL) are excited to announce that they have unanimously voted to come together as one Goodwill, effective June 1, 2025.

This unification reflects a bold, strategic step forward – driven by common growth goals and a shared mission of strengthening communities through the power of work. Together, we will build a stronger Goodwill across our collective region, expanding opportunity and helping more people enter or re-enter the workforce.

We will continue to serve all the communities we currently support, and over time, work to expand our reach and deepen our impact across the region. With our combined expertise, we’re confident this unification will create even greater value for our communities, team members, and partners. All team members will continue to play a vital role in the unified Goodwill.

These will be the key benefits of unification:

  • Strengthening training and work opportunities for people in our communities
  • Supporting people in the region through access to affordable goods
  • Advancing our work in the circular economy
  • Enhancing training, development and career opportunities for our team members
  • Optimizing our resources and building capacity
  • Strengthening our Goodwill Brand

As of June 1, 2025, Bev Kobe will be the CEO & President and Tracy Cunning will be the Executive Director of the unified Career Centre.

This decision marks a pivotal moment – one that opens the door to new possibilities for continued growth and innovation.
