Required Qualifications:

Home Support Worker – Personal Support Worker Certificate Training Program

Start an exciting new career with SE Health! Earn your PSW certification with SE Career College of Health’s PSW program!
This program meets or exceeds the Ontario
Personal Support Worker Program standard and is approved through the Ministry of Colleges
and Universities.
• Free tuition for the HSW and PSW programs
• Immediate employment – you will be paid to train as an HSW
• You will work as an HSW, while attending PSW classes
• Your HSW work hours are scheduled around PSW class time (for convenience)
• The program is offered at various locations across Ontario

Student Commitments:
• HSW classes are 9am-3pm Monday-Friday. There are 3 weeks of online classes as well as 1 week in the community with a support worker mentor. Community hours are based on the mentors’ schedule.
• PSW classes are 11am-4pm Monday-Friday. These classes are un-paid, but you will get to work as an HSW around those class hours in order to earn a wage. The PSW program is approximately 6 months, 4 months of online theory classes, 3 weeks of hands-on in-person lab
