Required Qualifications:

Job Details:
Position: Assistant Residential Landscape Construction Manager.
Reporting to: Vice President of Construction and Sales.
Location: Hamilton, Ontario.
Pay: $60,000 (Benefits after 3 months, Laptop, iPhone).

Ability to read blueprints.
Knowledge of common landscape items such as:
Paving stone.
Retaining walls.
Water features.
Planting (Horticulture).
Ability to work in a team environment and communication skills.
Working knowledge of plant material and plan ID is an asset.
Ability to attend 2-3 evening appointments weekly, in the busy season.
Must have a Valid Driver’s License with access to a personal vehicle.

Preferred Education:
Any landscape-related degree, certificate.
Business degree or certificate along with industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for assisting in the following:
On-site measuring and shooting of elevations and grades.
Preparing design presentations and bids.
Day to day Scheduling and coordination with site supervisors.
Purchasing, negotiating and arranging site materials and sub-contractors.
Arranging and coordinating building permits with various municipalities.
