Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge and/or experience serving clients with employment barriers.
• Ability to meet and exceed established job performance and/or program targets.

• Flexibility in work scheduling to be available to workdays, with some evenings and weekends.
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related discipline.
• Education in, or experience working in quality assurance, or a systems audit function would be considered an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience in advanced-level administrative functions.

Key Responsibilities:

THE OPPORTUNITY
Provide support and consultation with ES location and program managers by executing advanced-level quality assurance and audit measures and administering various program financial supports and performance-based funding processes. May include support of multiple locations and/or programs.
THE DELIVERABLES
Success in this position will be include but not limited to:
• Awareness of the applicable program budget, receives, evaluates, and approves client financial support requests in alignment with program guidelines.
• Tracks, reconciles, and reports on financial support expenditures, consulting with managers as required.
• Reviews, validates, and approves financial support data entries in the case management database.
• Completes and submits petty cash reports in a timely manner.
• Conducts client/employer file audits to ensure data entry and integrity standards are maintained. Reporting findings to the location or program manager.
• Partners with, and provides recommendations to, the manager addressing any program data discrepancies, inefficiencies, and/or process improvement opportunities.
• Remains current with any and all funder financial support updates of information or required processes, communicating to and instructing managers and staff in a timely manner.
• Reviews, evaluates, and approves Retention checkpoints to ensure accurate and timely completion, providing staff and managers with follow-up as required.
• Connects with funders regarding program financial support updates.
• Is the conduit for submission of funder helpdesk tickets to resolve system issues, keeping accurate tracking records.
• Attends monthly meetings with funders, providing insight and feedback on program performance, partnering with the location or program manager as required.
• Receives, codes, and approves invoices, conducting any follow-up or enquiry as required.
• Receives and submits maintenance requests, conducting any follow-up or enquiry as required.
• Verifies and approves office supply requests, maintaining an awareness of program budget, and conducting any follow-up or enquiry as required.

Additional Details:

THE DETAILS
• As a full-time position the work week consists of 5 days per week with 37.5 to 40 hours.
• The candidate must have the flexibility to work days, with some evenings and weekends.
• This is a salaried position with a comprehensive benefits package including Extended Healthcare, Dental, Vision-care, Pension Plan, and Educational Assistance.
• A valid driver’s license and full-time access to a vehicle is required.

Required Qualifications:

As a Donor Greeter you may be the first Goodwill employee a donation customer meets. Your task is to provide outstanding customer service, greeting with a smile and assisting the customer with their clothing or household donations from curb side or in-store.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN OUR DONOR GREETERS:
 Service with a smile – Strong customer service and communication skills.
 Teamwork – Able to work with minimal supervision yet contribute as part of a team.
 Reliable and self-motivated with energy and enthusiasm.
 Able to safely lift up-to 30 kg, do some bending and carrying, standing and walking for extended periods of time.

Key Responsibilities:

WHAT OUR DONOR GREETERS DO:
 Greet and assist donation customers in-store or at curb side to accept donations.
 Accept, organize, and sort incoming donations effectively and efficiently.
 Keep the donations area clean and well-organized.
 Assist delivery drivers with the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
 Work safely while meeting donor objectives on a daily basis.

Additional Details:

• Hours & Scheduling – Full-time – 32 to 40 hours per week. We offer variable scheduling; however, candidates must be flexible in their availability to cover shifts that may include weekdays & early evenings, Saturday, Sunday, and stat holidays.
• Hourly Wage – Competitive hourly wage rate ($18.50-$19.50/hour) commensurate with experience.
• Benefits – Our Full-time program includes Extended Healthcare, Dental, Vision Care, Travel, Employee Assistance Program, Pension Plan with company match, Store Purchase Discount.
• The successful candidate will be required to have a Police Records Check completed at the Criminal Check level.
