Required Qualifications:

✓ A valid driver’s license and full-time access to a vehicle.
✓ Post-secondary degree or diploma in Social Services, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent.
✓ Minimum 3 to 5 years of related experience in fashion retail or fashion consulting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
✓ Strong knowledge of clothing retail, merchandising, and fashion.
✓ Engages in culturally responsive outreach and community engagement, while planning and executing donor drives and other promotional activities
✓ Positive people management and partnership building skills.
✓ Highly developed customer and client service skills, with knowledge and/or experience serving clients with employment barriers, including disability.
✓ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
✓ Sound knowledge of program promotion, marketing, and fund-raising techniques, with ability to execute.
✓ Sound working knowledge of various software including Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Key Responsibilities:
THE OPPORTUNITY
This role promotes and manages the ClothingWorks program through building internal and external partnerships and assisting job seekers. The role is responsible for the overall operation of the ClothingWorks unit, including inventory and performance management of staff and/or volunteers.THE DELIVERABLES
Success in this position will be achieved through working directly with job seekers to help them gain confidence in making the best possible first-impression in their job search interview situations. Deliverables include but are not limited to:
• Provides outstanding customer service to jobseekers engaged in the program.
• Recruit and hire program personnel which may include a small team of volunteers or permanent team members.
• Leading-by-example, acts as a coach and mentor to all direct reports, providing guidance, training, and timely performance management as required
• Collaborate with our retail managers to secure a consistent supply of appropriate clothing inventory, providing clothing identification education and training as required.
• Conducts outreach, builds contacts and partnerships within the community to promote, enable, and grow the program through needs assessments, funding, and alternate sources of related donations.
• Proactively monitors program performance to ensure all established metrics are met.
• Ensures all program personnel are aware of and understand any program performance targets, and that pro-active actions are being taken to ensure targets are met.
• Ensures the ClothingWorks facility is professionally organized and clean, well merchandised, and all equipment is in proper working order.

• The salary range for this full-time position is $51,383 – $55,305 based on experience and a work week consists of 5 days per week with 37.5 to 40 hours.
• The candidate must have the flexibility to work days, with some evening and weekend shifts.
• The successful candidate will be required to have a Police Records Check completed at the Vulnerable Sector level. (Internal candidates may already have this on-file).
