Required Qualifications:

✓ Service with a smile – Strong customer service and communication skills.
✓ Teamwork – Able to work with minimal supervision yet contribute as part of a team.
✓ Be self-motivated with energy and enthusiasm.
✓ Able to safely lift up-to 50 pounds, do some bending and carrying, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
✓ Although training is provided, the previous use of warehouse material moving equipment an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Donor Greeter you may be the first Goodwill employee a donation customer meets. Your task is to provide outstanding customer service by giving our donation customers a pleasant donation experience. Greeting with a smile and accepting their donations with grateful enthusiasm.
WHAT OUR DONOR GREETERS DO: ✓ Greet and assist donation customers in-store or at curb-side to accept donations.
✓ Accept, organize, and sort incoming donations effectively and efficiently.
✓ Support and assist with the receiving and unloading of truck orders from the warehouse.
✓ Keep the donations area clean and well-organized.
✓ Work safely both indoors and outdoors year-round.

Additional Details:

• Hours & Scheduling – Part-Time – Up to 31 Hours per week. We offer variable scheduling, however candidates must be flexible in their availability to cover shifts that may include weekdays & early evenings, Saturday, Sunday, and stat holidays.
• Hourly Wage – Competitive hourly wage rate ($16.60 to $18.00) commensurate with experience.
• Benefits – Our part-time program includes dental, Employee Assistance Program, and Pension Plan.
• Safety – CSA Safety shoes required; annual reimbursement provided.
