Post-secondary graduate in an Office Administration program or equivalent
Previous experience in an office environment/setting.
Proficient computer skills using Word, Excel, Outlook and database software packages.
Efficient and accurate data-entry skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and computer)
Well-organized and detail-oriented individual, with strong problem-solving skills and self-initiative.
Team player but must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be customer oriented, self-motivated with a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Success in this position will be achieved through the delivery of exceptional support and service to internal and external clients. Deliverables include but are not limited to: Conducting significant data entry for various program reporting requirements and statistics.
Providing pleasant and professional office reception for the general public.
Providing professional administrative support and job search information to clients.
Providing professional office administrative support to Employment Services personnel.
Maintaining the organization of office administrative needs such as supplies and general processes.
Responding to enquiries from the public, clients and referring agents.
Providing appropriate services to clients to ensure needs are met within established parameters.
Produce correspondence, statistical, and final program reports, minutes, and other written materials.
Establish and maintain client files and assisting in maintaining client databases.
Provide occasional backup support to training instructors.
May assist in marketing campaigns, telephone enquiries and mail-outs.

• As a full-time position the work week consists of 5 days per week with 37.5 to 40 hours.
• The candidate must have flexibility to work days, with some evenings and weekends when required.
• This is a salaried position ($43,656 to $46,224) with a benefits package including healthcare, dental, vision, life insurance, Long-term Disability, and pension plan eligibility.
• The successful candidate will be required to have a Police Records Check completed at the Criminal Record level.
