Required Qualifications:

Network Help Desk Technician
We are looking for an experienced Help Desk professional to join our growing team, at a prominent local Managed Services Provider.

Desired Skills / Experience
– 2+ Years of experience in a Network Administration role or similar
– Maintaining Network systems including Virtual Infrastructure, Switches, Firewalls, Wireless, VPN, (VMWare / Hyper-V / Aruba / Cisco / SonicWall / Fortinet / Datto)
– Knowledge and experience in network engineering best practices including subnetting, VLAN management, configuration management, authentication, etc.
– Strong knowledge of MS-VISIO for Layer 2/3 Network topology diagrams
– Strong oral/written English communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

You would be helping small and large high profile clients remotely solve a wide variety of technical issues, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction with a focus on network-related issues. Ideally you have 2+ years of experience in the Helpdesk field and must have a solid understanding of Networking, Routing fundamentals, VPN protocols, Network architecture and deployment, Wireless deployments and troubleshooting. You have worked and are familiar with remote access tools, remote diagnostics, and enjoy creating a positive end user experience through the support cycle, and pride yourself on strong documentation.

You would work in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment, have personal dedication to maintaining your IT skillset, managing your time effectively, and have strong communication and inter-personal skills.
