Required Qualifications:

An Administrative Diploma is an asset
Experience in the mental health field
The candidate must be very organized
The candidate must be able to multi-task
The candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and is a very detail-oriented individual.
A high level of computer skills is a necessity; including Microsoft Office, Excel, etc

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing, and announcing them appropriately
Responding in a professional manner to clients inquiries – both over the phone and through email
Scheduling clients appointments
Collecting payments
Insurance verification
Preparing and maintaining client files, paperwork and meeting notes, and managing/updating client databases.
Common workplace cleaning

Participate fully as a member of the team and contribute to a positive work environment.
Keep others in the immediate team informed and up to date about the status/progress of projects, and all relevant or useful information related to day-to-day activities.

Anchoridge Counselling Services is a private practice in Waterloo, Milton, Oakville, and Mississauga. We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Oakville.

We are looking for someone who can be on-call for our admin team and take the lead on some special projects here at Anchoridge. We are looking for a dedicated individual that has an avid interest in mental health and helping individuals on a daily basis. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, energetic, outgoing, flexible, and detail-oriented to manage our front desk and to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. A successful candidate must be passionate about growing with the practice and taking on new challenges as they arise.
